On January 9, 2021, Schaumburg Area Progressives collaborated with progressive groups around the area including Occupy Elgin, Illinois Single Payer Coalition, Progressives of Kane County, Elgin in Solidarity with BLM, Fox Valley Citizens for Peace and Justice, Progressive DuPage, and Reclaim Northwest Suburbs, and over 60+ people came out to call on Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi to put people over profits and to support Medicare For All.
